2010

DESCRIPTION:
The exhibition is a modern phenomenon that emerged in the nineteenth century due to the necessity of mass production and supply. What is considered as exhibition nowadays includes the origins and necessities of this era and afterwards.
In modern times, place and space have been redefined and its relation to the world of life, humans and technology has been the focus of attention. Accordingly, the visual structure and architecture of the exhibition has a variety of functions mostly focused on communicative action in various areas of human life. In Iran, exhibition spaces have about a 40-year background and hundreds of different exhibitions are annually held at national, international, provincial and urban levels in the country.
In general, the exhibition space is a place where displaying innovation, modern technologies, the competition and commerce plays a major role. Thus the main goals of designing exhibition spaces are as follows:
1-Innovation in building materials
2- Decrease in building material and increase space with modern ways of creating the future.
Regardless of the place where the exhibition spaces are designed, some of the most prominent features can be deduced as:
1- Future-oriented versus traditionalism
2- Mass production versus traditional manufacturing
3- Being temporary instead of being permanent
4-Brutalism versus visual comfort
5- Technology versus form
